The Urbexer
Without realizing it, my first photographs were of the abandoned industrial monstrosities of my hometown. Today, the search for the last remnants of a brutalist era is more about exploration. It is as if I am discovering the lost golden city of El Dorado embraced by nature, disappearing both as structure and as meaning and memory. The discovery of rooms and halls with a long-lost semblance of their true function awakens in me a real fantasy of times and human destinies gone by.
